About
Cultivating culture-cognition through the Indian Knowledge System.
Bṛhat works as an academic partner to institutions bringing IKS into education and research. With universities, government bodies, research organisations, industry, and scholars, the Trust designs courses and programmes, develops faculty and academic leadership, conducts research, creates learning resources, and advises on curricula, credits, accreditation, and hiring. Bṛhat also convenes scholars across disciplines, creating spaces where Sanskrit, economics, law, ecology, philosophy, and technology meet, enabling new collaborations, research, and teaching material.
Bṛhat Education advances this mandate within the academy. As a research, creative and leadership organisation, our work proceeds along three intertwined commitments:
-
Cultural creation from the deep pool of dharma
Cultural works in written, audio and visual form — output that represents civilisation and the essential consciousness from which it arises.
-
Culture-compatible policy and capability
Research and frameworks that bring a dhārmic operating system to life, reorienting State and society to operate with IKS as the code.
-
Culture-cognition across generations
Design thinking, organisational leadership and IKS furtherance — cultivating the embodied, inter-generational cognition on which all culture-in-action rests.
